David Mark has lived in San Francisco for over twenty five years, and holds a Masters Degree in Physics from San Francisco State University, and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from The San Francisco Art Institute. As an artist, David Mark’s diverse educational background has bolstered his expertise in the application of projected light as a central medium of art making.
His paintings and collection of full color high resolution stereograms, taken by his custom designed stereoscopic camera, reside in numerous private collections, and are exhibited regularly in galleries and museums throughout the world. A portion of his work has overlapped in the area of live video projection cinema directed towards large indoor and outdoor objects done in conjunction with fellow artist Ben Wood
